Postnatal yoga gives you the time and techniques to relax,
breathe, focus on yourself and achieve inner peace for your
baby and yourself. Using gentle postures, breathing
exercises, relaxation and meditation, we bring comfort,
ease, strength and flexibility to the body, and help both
body and mind to recover from the delivery.
After birth you want to get fit and look better. Taking
regular exercises that combine fat burning, flexibility and
muscle strengthening will give you tone, a healthy glow, and
energy and of course will improve your stamina and
suppleness, making you more physically confident and
graceful.
We pay special attention to toning the pelvic and abdominal
areas, as well as opening the shoulders and chest. We will
build heat through flowing vinyasa-style yoga, and also
learn and practice restorative poses and breathing
techniques to release tension and facilitate relaxation.
If you really want to improve your health and fitness, go to
a yoga class. You will be shown particular positions called
asanas, and will learn how to breathe while holding the
positions. Yoga relaxes and streamlines the entire body,
reducing tension and inducing tranquility.
Based on her extensive teaching experience with pregnant
woman, and her personal knowledge of pregnancy, Or-Yah has
created unique yoga classes for pregnant women and women
after birth. Through her teaching, she guides others to
connect more deeply to their minds, bodies and souls, and to
achieve a healthy body and mind, concentration, joy and
balance.
